'Digging the Blogosphere' features a quality selection of underground electronica, hip hop, jazz and future beats from Mo Kolours, Badbadnotgood, the Colman Brothers and others. Double LP complete with download code and poster. For many artists, the web is the best way to spread their music. Thousands of new songs are posted daily on websites, blogs, soundcloud, bandcamp… As a consequence, surfing on the net became one of the best ways to discover new music and new artists. This compilation is the selection of our favourite tracks found after hours and hours on the web. A new wave of artists, a new way to listen and discover music… The tracks range from the Canadian jazz trio Badbadnotgood's phenomenal cover of Slum Village's Dilla produced "Fall in Love", "Drum Talking" by Mo Kolours, the drummer and singer of Mauritian origin who blends soul, dub, abstract hip-hop and percussion beats (who made one of 2011's best EPs for One-Handed Music), the laid-back modern soul/boogie of Opolopo and the cool dancefloor latin-jazz of the Colman Brothers.
